Three Sundays of Singing – Bel Canto, Bach and the Big Band

Rigoletto and Friends: A Tribute to Zinka Milanov – May 13, 2012.  3 pm at 2nd Presbyterian Church Church, 1936 S. Michigan Avenue in Chicago.  I’ll sing the role of Gilda in the final act of Rigoletto as well as other works by Bellini, Donizetti, Puccini and Verdi.  More information about the concert can be found here.

Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott” (A mighty fortress is our God) – May 27, 2012.  10:30 am at St Luke Church, 1500 West Belmont Avenue in Chicago.  A part of St. Luke Church’s Bach Cantata Series, this work is presented as a part of their Sunday morning service.  The cantata features a challenging duet for soprano and bass as well as a beautiful aria for soprano (Komm in mein Herzenshaus).

Princeton Community Band – June 3, 2012.   6 pm at Soldiers and Sailors Park, Princeton, Illinois.  I’m returning to perform with my hometown band for another concert, singing “I’ve made my plans for the Summer” by John Philip Sousa.

Looking forward to singing a wide variety of repertoire – hope to see you there!
